The level was loosely by the SCP Containment Breach games. The level is split into a main working area and a high security containment zone.
I developed the level entirely in Hammer. I used some scripting in order to place buttons that the player needs to press in order to unlock other parts of the map.
About the level
I wanted the level to match the feel of an SCP facility, separating different parts of the level into 3 sort of "zones." The player starts off in an entrance area and confronts guards in large open spaces. The player then progresses to an office space which involves many tight spaces. Finally the player opens up the containment zone and navigates through dark narrow hallways in order to defeat the final boss of the level.
